Mouldmaking & Casting Project 2020

To make a series of precise and economical two part moulds in order to recast objects into new contexts. Creating toys in the bootleg tradition. Collection of a range of small objects to mould - old toys dissected for parts, altered bottle caps or broken handle. Moulding these objects using demonstrated two part moulding and cut moulding processes. The toy will then be composed of parts I have reproduced and supported by a narrative setting and graphical backing card that tie all these elements together.
